Lecture class
Today lecturer class we learn about DATA MANAGEMENT. Why we need data management? This is because data management acts as professional to assist us in analysis the data, trend and pattern for us decision making. For instance, a bakery shop used the big data to do analysis and forecasting the sale for the next coming festival. The big data is very useful for people to do analysis and get more information from there. There are some data collection system such as RFID (barcode), TPS (transaction processing system) and ECP (Electronic cash register). Nowadays, most of businessman used the POS (point of sales), one of the part of EPS to collect all data.
Lab class
Today lab class, we had reviewed our CIP progress. Most of the group already make interview with the in-charge person and collect the related information from them. Our group also had contact with her and the person in charge invite all of us to her new outlet opening and take picture from there to put in their website. Apart from CIP, Dr. also taught us how to download and reuse the picture that available on website legally without copyright issue. We should used proper used the internet with benefit activity, that is known as "Netiquette". In addition, until today I really know how to differentiate between CC and BCC in e-mail. CC is carbon copy while BCC is blind carbon copy that is did not let the receiver know you also send a copy to another person. Also, we had learn ZOOM software. It is an useful software as we can have video call or conference call at anytime and anywhere without travel to the destination. Zoom is better than Skype as it can share anything on it like lecture class while it is the deficiency of Skype.
